This is going to be short, until transcripts and a video is available, but this was INCREDIBLE on Scarborough Country a few minutes ago.
Basically, the bit consisted of Lawrence O'Donnell making his case AGAINST the war in Iraq and FOR the perhaps needed draft spoken of by Rangel against an indignant and VERY ANGRY Joe Scarborough and Terry Halt (with Michael Crowley doing a whole lotta nuthin on the side).
The meat of the argument was Scarborough's anger at O'Donnell's agreement with Charlie Rangel on the issue of the draft. O'Donnell went after him, and at some point (I cannot remember the exact question, sorry) Scarborough just lost it; at first yelling at O'Donnell and accusing him of ***surprise*** "no patriotism" and then finally scoffing "Fine, just talk. Just go ahead and talk."
The sum of the argument was O'Donnell:
"I'm so sick and tired of hearing how we should go to war from people that didn't go. Democrats may be as hypocritical as Republicans, but I am sick of hearing war-mongerors trump up the war."
Scarborough was SUPER-pissed, and it looks like something in him and his pseudo conservative persona finally cracked.
More after an update...
